Field	Type	Required	What it is
base_url	string	Yes	Address of the AWX server or the Ansible Automation Platform gateway, without the API path. No trailing slash.
api_path	string	No	API root of the automation controller. Use /api/v2 for AWX and AAP 2.4 or earlier, and /api/controller/v2 when you connect through the AAP 2.5+ platform gateway.
token	string	No	OAuth2 personal access token, sent as Authorization: Bearer. On AWX/AAP 2.4: Users > Tokens (or POST /api/v2/tokens/). On AAP 2.5+: Access Management > Users > Tokens on the platform gateway (or POST /api/gateway/v1/tokens/). Use the write scope to launch and cancel jobs. Leave empty to use username and password.
username	string	No	Username for Basic authentication. Used only when token is empty.
password	string	No	Password for Basic authentication. Used only when token is empty.
